It's unfortunate that there's no organized native opposition to Hamas, so no one is in a position to defend these people.

Libre Office (at least Calc which is the one I use most) is usable but it has bizarre random slowdowns and crashes relatively frequently, whereas I have never once had issues like that with Microsoft Office. I still use Libre Office (on both Windows and Linux) because it's free but I acknowledge that it has disadvantages.

You don't mind their UI conventions? I suppose I could probably get used to them, but while I'm comfortable with Windows and Linux desktop environments, I find the Mac one to be quite unpleasant to use for some reason.

Is this the sort of negative mass that would possibly allow for stable wormholes and therefore time travel?

The article is not clear. Did the drone actually hit

a training camp of the Israeli Defence Forces' (IDF) Golani Brigade

No, the tongs are for when the vacuum wants to take you alive.

It's a good thing none of them were armed...

He'll also have to come and help, unless he just wants to watch you go at it alone.

Are you aware that Lebanon already has a democratically elected government, and that Hezbollah is not that government? It's the private army of the Shia minority and effectively an Iranian occupying force. Most people in Lebanon had absolutely no say in its decision to attack Israel, but they are still suffering from the consequences of that decision.

These themes were distilled into fiction 100 years ago

Just a nitpick: Rings of Power uses Tolkien's characters but its story is almost entirely the work of the show's modern script-writers. They don't have the rights to use anything Tolkien wrote about that period of Middle Earth's history beyond what is mentioned in LOTR and its appendices (which is very little).

As recently as February, Mr. Walz said on a podcast that he had been in Hong Kong, then a British colony, “on June 4 when Tiananmen happened,” and decided to cross into mainland China to take up his teaching duties even though many people were urging him not to.

But it was not true. Mr. Walz, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, indeed taught at a high school in China as part of a program sending American teachers abroad, but he did not actually travel to the country until August 1989.

Why bother making something like this up?

Pretty much every major shopping website has terrible search functionality.

I usually want something very specific, for example 60w dimmable e12 frosted warm led bulb. I have not found a single shopping website that won't show me results without many of these terms in the description. I don't want to see listings that say 40w and don't say 60w anywhere, and it isn't hard to filter them out!

Are these shopping websites bad on purpose? What's in it for them?
