I don't use a temp ban unless they've already been warned a couple times and it's obvious they're just reposting shit that they know they're reposting, like reposting their own stuff. I'll only permaban if I know they're spamming, or they're overtly hostile to people on a regular basis and get a steady stream of reports against them.

Most games these days have a setting in the accessibility settings section to change tapping to holding, and that's always one of the first things I check.
They said "for literally anything" but yes, holding a button to pick something up gets annoying.

I do, yes, especially for niche communities. But other social networks aren't the answer. Go look at what Reddit has become, or Twitter, or Facebook. It's all junk. Half of it is AIs talking to AIs. There's almost no meaningful conversation taking place. At least here we occasionally get some good conversations, although those are rare outside of politics and Linux.
I just had to use a Windows machine 10 minutes ago for the first time in 3 years. I hated it. I won't be doing that again until I have to.

We've pretty much completely discounted astrology as having any meaningful impact on a person's personality. But what about the seasons of the year, and the weather that comes with them? The stars position in the sky are an indication of the seasons on earth. Right? Wouldn't a baby that is born into a world of sunshine and warmth have a different early development than one born into the cold and darkness of winter? Has any research been done on the impacts of a baby's environmental conditions on their personality?

No, a heads up is fair. Banning someone for any length of time for something they weren't even aware they were doing is fucked up, especially for something as harmless as reposting some funny meme.
