it irks me when things that aren't attributable to adhd get attributed to adhd. enjoy your common ground, i guess that's the point, but the side effect is a generation with just as fucked up of an understanding of mental health as the generation that denied their MH issues

This is what quitting Facebook on moral grounds is like when everyone you know has the moral fortitude of wet newspaper.

[–] Okokimup@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

That's exactly what happened to me.

This but Discord for those under 30

Hmm does doing something like that on black (evil) moral grounds also count?

it's either:

  • losing
  • loosening

no other choice.

"loosing" can only be used immediately before "the dogs of war".

even in that case, usage of -ing form is poor grammar which takes away potential choices of phrasing and reduces possibilities for creativity.

And arrows, no?

You are correct, of course. I was being difficult.

Phhht. Amateur. I do both!

Same. And I’m lonely ¼ of the time. The struggle is real.

[–] CrazyHorse@lemmy.cafe 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

If you ever feel lonesome, please hesitate, and don't contact me.

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

I can’t tell if your are being deliberately mean, or if you are reasserting your desire for people to not contact you unprompted.

I'm honestly sorry man. But I actually just meant it in a misanthropic way, not in the social anxiety-way. So no struggle, just a decision. I honestly just noticed upon your reply that there are people who involuntarily cut ties.

I personally always get a severe anxiety of missing something important even when my phone is not silenced so I'm just trying my best to stay busy to not think about it.

Do you mostly leave your iphone on ‘do not disturb’ mode or ‘disturb’ mode??
