This brings to mind the highly underrated movie Stuart Saves His Family. Surviving toxic people is hard, but it's even harder for anyone with anxiety disorders.

Beautiful, society is healing
My father must have written that list from the pinewood box he's in.
Repeat yourself? Why?
I'm confused.

Wow my ex must've taken this post to heart
Hey, it’s a list of my ex husbands favorite tips and tricks!
Did you know that “square breathing” exercises are not helpful when someone’s yelling at you to do them?
I'm sorry to hear about your bastard ex husband. The only thing that's really helped my anxiety is drugs. I'm guessing you've tried that though. Square breathing never really worked for me. Hope things are better now.
So this is the guide my parents used
I know many people who handled it just fine, it must be a you problem. You probably misunderstood them most of the time. I'm sure they just wanted the best for you. A friend of mine handled it just fine and turned out a better person than most. Really, you must be overreacting to something that was probably just discipline. Surely, they wished the best for you and tried to build your character.

Wow, that's some exceptional train of thought stuff.
Ouch. AF.
It's like being a kid again 🤩
You’re just ungrateful.
Yeah... i started tensing up halfway through reading this.
Been out of the house for 20 years, things have never changed.
Anything you say, do, or express interest in, can and will be used against you.
Ow.
Never tell them what you want. Only be passive aggressively pissed off when they don't do it.
These tips actually work for most loved ones.
Have you ever tried gaslighting someone?
That shit isn’t as easy as they make it sound.
Gaslighting? I'm pretty sure the term you're looking for is gaslamping. Don't worry, it's a pretty common mistake for people to make.
are you sure it's gaslamping? last i heard gaslamping is a term for when you start making random shit into gas lamps for no particular reason, seems to be a weird anomalous quality of certain post industrialized human societies.
Oh my god! I can't believe OP mistook gaslighting for gaslamping... I thought that that was one of those mistakes nobody does anymore.
There’s no such thing as gaslighting. You’re making it up because you're paranoid that everyone’s out to get you.
Are you gaslighting me into thinking no one is ever gone gaslight me so it's easier for your co conspirator to gaslight me in the future? I'm not making things up! People are up against me and your comment is proof!
that shit isn't as easy as they make it sound.
Yeah it is. You must be remembering it wrong.
Nearly everyone gets gaslit if you try, what do you mean?
That's because the real term is gas-lamping, not gas-lighting. The term was invented around the Victorian period where the primary source of lighting were gas-lamps.
I get annoyed when my wife uses that term every time I disagree with her.
What are you talking about? It's super easy you idiot.

The secret is persistence.
I have ADD, and my partner has GAD. I always feel bad about the pacing. 90% of the time, I've lost my train of thought/ something. I noticed if I say, "I'm fine; I'm just looking for something.", it helps a lot. She describes them as "frantic footsteps". I can understand why that would freak people out.
I could be wrong but I think the pacing referred to in this post is a physical manifestation of impatience.
"Pace around for no fucking reason" this sounds hilarious, it would even irritate people without anxiety.
For me, its not that it would be irritating, but rather spike my anxiety and makee very uncomfortable, a feeling of being unsafe moreso than irratation
Sending this to my girlfriend, Nicole
