Before anyone gets hyped thinking this is a spiritual sequel to Bloodborne, they may want to read the description on the official site (translated from Japanese via DeepL):

This game appears to be to Bloodborne what Nightreign is to Elden Ring: an online multiplayer-focused experience using a lightweight version of their gameplay formula. Only, while Nightreign is co-op, this one appears to be more competitive.
Basically, no one should be buying a Switch 2 for this game if they're expecting Bloodborne 2. If they do, they're setting themselves up for disappointment.
When I saw the trailer, I thought Nintendo had pulled the craziest power move. Now I’m less disappointed since I probably won’t have much interest in this anyways. I probably will watch some streamers play it for sure.
The art style is also too close to night reign/elden ring than bloodborne
Assuming that's correct, all my interest in the game died instantly. Which is sad, because it's the only title I was truly interested in.

For the record, Sony owns the rights to the Bloodborne IP which is why this isn't called "Bloodborne 2".
That said, this is almost definitely Bloodborne 2.

Before this I was like "I'm not playing a single Nintendo exclusive game" because of the emulator situations Now I need to ask what's the state of switch emulators? I still hate Nintendo but I don't want to miss out on this
Switch emulators run fine, but this is coming to the Switch 2 which is a different console. We don't know when emulation for that will be available, if ever considering how hard Nintendo has been cracking down on them.
