I hope this gets circulated enough to reduce the ridiculous amount of investment and energy waste that the ramping-up of "AI" services has brought. All the companies have just gone way too far off the deep end with this shit that most people don't even want.

It went from "don't post pictures of yourself or your real name online because you might get strangers' attention" to everyone trying to be their own version of a Max Headroom talking head to try to get the attention of all the strangers. Selfies, video selfies, talking head videos, reaction videos... all garbage.

The phone addiction thing is strangely very common now. I've seen many posts online about it, people complaining how life is bad and they can only stay on their phone all day.

I just don't get it. Why would you want to stare at a tiny screen in your hand all day? I only waste time on my phone when I'm bored and can't find something better to do.

You rant loudly but wrongly about "assault weapons". The fact is that pistols are used to kill far more people in the USA (and elsewhere) than "assault weapons" and any other kind of rifle. 3% or less of all homicides involve any kind of rifle.

Lots of people on the internets tend to do whataboutism around this topic whenever it comes up.

I think what it all boils down to is that TikTok is the worst example we've seen come up, and it is badly addicting and manipulative enough that it finally got people concerned.

When you're one of us who never installed or browsed to TikTok, it's quite obvious how it's fucking up the rest of the people. It has taken smartphone addiction to a new level. People look like addicted zombies on that shit.

They should send him a quote for how much it would cost to run all that shit and ask for payment up front.

And anything that enables more mass surveillance. FUSUS systems are being installed all around the USA that aggregate private video camera feeds into video-surveillance centers for cops and whoever else they want to give access.

I'm not a slave, I do whatever I want and life is great. Perhaps you should try just doing whatever the fuck you want to sometimes.

Did you have a comment reply to make? I'm not watching anybody's youtube link.

It's not like Walz or Harris can do anything about it anyway. Legal scholars have said that it would take a Constitutional amendment to change the electoral college system to anything else, as it is mandated by the Constitution.

Amending the Constitution requires ratification by 75% of the 50 US states after passing a 2/3 majority of Congress.

It's best to be realistic and not get worked up about things you can't do anything about.
