You pick a location near you and it lists known orgs that provide aid in any manner near you. Some people have used this to organize safe passage out of red states or support if you don't want to leave. Make sure to verify what the resource is beforehand.
If you're concerned about commsec I'm happy to contact any aid org on your behalf. I'm also working on an open I2P proxy for activists and at risk populations so that people can communicate and organize efforts in places where their rights are at risk or non-existent.
There's also Arti nodes or more traditional Tor nodes as well. At least communicate through Signal if you're going to be organizing efforts and stay off of anything Meta or twitter related.
