Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. I agree with this move. China required US manufacturers to partner with Chinese firms 40 years ago and stole much of the research and development as a result.
If Chinese manufacturers want to sell in the US, we should return the favor.
We also need a GDPR-type privacy law for any software, foreign or domestic, that utilizes citizens’ private data. Having a hostile nation controlling key infrastructure in the US would be a fatal error.
