Looks very much like the tank (and its friend) had taken a hit and was being checked out by infantry; great way to test the expendability of russian infantry.

Then when you survive, you go round the corner of your wrecked vehicle to check, as if needing to confirm that "yup, thats a tank".

Also goddamn that one guy running straigh across, past the front of the tanks, towards the treeline.
