If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. I think at the time, they had to prove to the world that EVs weren't a cheaper alternative but a luxurious upgrade. Now that they've established prestige, the prices should drop, well if governments do their jobs properly.
