Yeah. Importing a 25 year old car requires 0 effort, 1% price at border - before fucko took office. I have owned a few Japanese imports I brought in. But newer than 25 years old, you require paperwork showing safety, emissions, etc., plus big taxes.
Good news is you can finally get a 2001 Super Beetle Ultimate Edition from Mexico next year. ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ (they're called Vochos down there. My girlfriend and I call them V8s... V+"ocho")
