This decision is even more difficult for me, as I don't even feel a sense of accomplishment for getting tasks done
I don't feel a sense of accomplishment, just relief.
Exactly but the relief is more relieving if you avoid the task until it's almost too late.
I've slowly built up the ability to feel accomplishment for some tasks, but it's still far more fleeting than it seems to be for nuerotypicals.
It's mostly spite driven too, which I don't think is healthy. "Fuck you Microsoft! I'm better!" "Fuck you software vendor! I'm better!"
That’s how I excel at work, honestly. One of the few ways I can motivate myself is if I have someone I’m beating in a contest that only I know about.
