It'd be amazing if they literally never figure this one out. There'll be conspiracy theories forever.
I dunno, for all the alt-right frothing, Charlie Kirk doesn't seem like someone anyone will think about even a month from now, let alone set up a pin board for.
He deserved what he got, but if I was making a list of worthy targets I'd probably forget to add him.

Legit forgot he existed till I woke up from my nap this afternoon and the internet was on fire about the shooting and shortly there after his declaration of death.
Was a bit surprised a few discord servers I was on was trying to spin it like this was something the left always does and gets away with. When i asked for them to give a source to that they freaked out and tried to get a mod to ban me. Good times.
Yeah, there's a rotating cast of grifters that are making the world worse but aren't really individually important in the larger fascist project. And political shootings are almost entirely from the right. The last political shooting from the left I can think of is the congressional baseball shooting nearly a decade ago.
I got myself banned from a discord server for daring to refuse to express sympathy for his death and calling him a Neo-Nazi instead. One of the moderators is very conservative, unsurprisingly
He was a big mouthpiece for their propaganda. My coworkers yesterday were a surprising bunch, because apparently many of their families enjoyed listening to his "debates."
Underestimating the influence of 'influencers' is part of what got us trump in the first place.
I don’t l ow much about the guy, but per AP News (de facto genocide deniers), Kirk was instrumental in vetting Trump loyalists.
Honestly I didn't even know who he was, but clearly he was low hanging fruit with minimal security protection. The scariest thing about that video is thousands of young people at a "University" cheering on hate.
Id probably would've added him but as halftime entertainment. Id force him and Kent Hovind to duel to the death, winner gets fed to the wood chipper legs first.
Which is what makes him the perfect sacrificial lamb to justify a military crackdown on protests and such.

They made Babbit a matyr, and she rushed Capitol police during a violet mob attack on Congress, through a barricade, while cops shouted for her to stop. The cop that killed her fired a single, controlled shot. He was not firing wildly or with malice. She was ex military, and should have realized what guns drawn and warnings about deadly force meant. Bystanders next to her admitted to hearing the police warning her as she breached the barricades, but she did it anyway.
Her mother just got a 5 million dollar settlement from the government and she got a full military burial with honors.
They don't need an actual reason for a martyr. They will invent reasons after the fact regardless of what happens.
IF we ever regain control, we should forcibly take back the money, and dump her body on their front lawn.
Those aren't exclusionary, they'll make both martyrs.
Trump admin won't let this go to waste. They'll find a suitable patsy, then justify taking guns away from everyone except card carrying nazis, I mean GOP members.

We can just use the same language. "It was suicide, the gunshot video is AI".

Nah they'll pass an assault weapon ban first, get the liberals to cheer it on. Some Democrats will start to lean Trump just to get guns taken away, then full gun control will be enacted.

My local news reported that a black clad figure was seen running across a rooftop immediately following the shooting so they’re trying to ID who it was. It’s the same rooftop where there have already been reports the shot likely came from. I forget the name of the building though.
There’s a video from before of someone being like “there’s a person up there, huh”
I guess they need the bullet to lodge in something solid to trace a path backwards.
I gotta imagine with all the videos it's possible. They'd have a rough trajectory through the neck and video of exactly how he was sitting.
I'd be interested to know if they plan anything else.
