Agreed. The phrasing "every single person online" is a bit strange because if say Greta had been killed, there would undeniably be tons of people outraged and mourning, some of them even liberals. All (or nearly all) the "conservative" rightwingers would be celebrating it though and saying things like she got what was coming to her, probably along with a few libs being more careful with their wording.
Libs would actually be like "what did she think was gonna happen? Clearly she didn't think this through". That's how they usually roll when it comes to any form of protests that go against capital..
