Unfortunately that what will happen. No one in our government is talking about UBI.
Yeah even in Canada nobody talks about it anymore.
There's another pilot program coming in 2026 in BC and Ontario.
Meanwhile my province is trying to succeed from Canada and join the states. I hate how stupid everyone is here sometimes.

I swear to fucking god auto correct takes real words that are spelt correctly and changes them just to make me look stupid. And I don’t need any fucking help looking stupid, I can look stupid just fine all on my own.
That happens to me on here all the time. I swear it will retroactively go in and mess up my comments after posting.
Because I always check before posting and still messes them up. But only on the app, which is my main way of using Lemmy.

same, i turned off all the autocorrect stuff for one main reason and a second reason that wasnt the original reason
1: i answer work chats from my phone and this is how i message on a keyboard, so it basically doesnt seem obvious that im not at my desk
and
2: it makes me seem less like an llm
