yeah, thats my read. or like, in the event of a worker accident-injury, compliance with the insurance company's protocols wants the test to be administered and pays for the VR headset to be available so a claim can be denied.

being able to deny a claim pays for the headset in one shot, or at least thats probably the pitch to the insurer.

Ya, I could even see long haul drivers be forced to test before shift. My mind immediately goes to the cheapo EEG they keep trying to pass off as a driver attention sensor.

CEOs love wasting all of their worker's generated profits on tools used to further suppress and control those same workers. They'd literally chain people to their desk if they thought they could get away with it, productivity be damned, worker control is all.
