I understand your sentiment but democrats still need a younger voice in congress. Nothing against Bernie but we need someone younger to take charge. I was hoping AOC would but haven't heard much about her recently.

I hate Trump but one thing he did was build a popular base and democrats have none. A lot of people say these are best practices but whose going to implement them? Democrats need someone to rally around...

Trump didn't "build" a base, he and the GOP just manipulated what was already there. His supporters willingly drink the Kool-Aid fed to them daily by Faux News.
