Are they saying third-parties don't even have devkits yet? That's a bizarre way to do a launch plan.
The console will be out of stock for at least 6 months anyway.
Maybe they are doing it due to how similar gen1 and 2 are to develop on. Gen2 just gets faster processing power. Maybe Nintendo told the devs target 30 fps on gen1 and we will almost guarantee 60 on gen 2. Or something to that effect.
This claim is dubious. Several publishers have already announced Switch 2 games.
