I can tell you from first-hand experience who this appeals to: Rich capitalists who are obsessed with any tech that looks remotely futuristic but do not have the slightest clue how anything works or what it actually does.
This, like 99% of AI services, is not made to appeal to consumers, it's made to grift investors. It's made to blow confetti into their eyes and go "Ooooh look, it's just like a human, it's the future!"
The tech industry does not want to admit that progress is slowing down, so they've pivoted to selling tech that doesn't exist yet. And again, I can tell you from first-hand experience that it's working perfectly. Rich capitalists are falling for this dumb charade hook, line and sinker.
