lol, tbh yeah.

even on mastodon which is relatively big the search is jst bad.

Google just had to put AI in the app store, and it apparently endorses scummy scam sites in c/mildlyinfuriating@lemmy.world

I remember these scams where you had to put in you phone number then reply to a text message and then you would automatically subscirbe to a contract for apps that are free anyways and not even the oddicial repo.

Also for obvous reasons it woukd not work.
