It's a big reason that they're all going all in on crypto. If they store the loot outside of the USD they don't care all that much if the dollar crashes. They can buy back into the dollar afterwards. Or some other currency if the whole country goes tits up.

The US used to have the Department of War. Then it split up after WWII into the departments of the army, navy, air force and the overseeing department was renamed the department of defense. Probably a branding thing.

You wouldn’t detect any radiation if they detonated nukes near an underwater faultline. Water blocks radiation really well. They would notice it via seismic sensors since earthquakes look different than nukes when it comes to seismic waves.

I would. Piracy is a service issue. Make streaming things easy to consume and with minimal frustrations for the users and piracy will diminish greatly.
