Summary:

the EPA asked for a 24-hour adjournment of a TRO hearing as a courtesy, got Climate United’s consent, and then used that time to terminate CU’s funding in a way that likely would have been enjoined if the hearing had proceeded as scheduled

Heat pump hot water heaters are quite cost effective.

Also quite possible.

Really weird and sad though. It's a lot more fun to add a tiny bit to a vibrant society than to stomp on a rubble heap and throw tantrums

I think the idea is to prevent collection of climate data so they can pretend that temperatures haven't risen.

This is contrary to what the article says:

So far, 116 of the 146 cases are under the age of 18, with 46 being 4 or under. Only five of the 146 were vaccinated with at least one dose of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

5/146 is ~3.4%

You can get measles when vaccinated, particularly if you only had one dose (the standard for people vaccinated before 1989) but it's much much less likely.

The problem is that the Washington Post is pocket change for Bezos. To hurt him, you need to move off AWS and stop buying from Amazon

Not getting paid. Not having physical access to buildings. Not having working accounts on government computers.

I suspect that my extensive online comment history is utterly disqualifying

The Atlantic was going to publish any response, no matter how bonkers. If a congresscritter decided to send them a Saturday Night Live skit about beavers building a dam in the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool, they'd have described that response in the article.
