They'd get banned for spam.

I feel like Lemmy also has a problem with corporate troll farms.

Reddit is far worse though with bots and establishment troll farm shill accounts.

I agree with the sentiment, but it doesn't hold up in reality.

Having any sort of engagement with rightoids results in your feed getting filled with Nazi shit.

This is not in any way a "threat to public safety" but it's still a cringe decision.

The inability to block users actually makes moderation even more necessary and makes it harder to allow "free speech."

I remember getting Call of Duty Finest Hour at the store.

It ultimately was a major contribution that led to my sister transitioning roughly a decade later. She spent a lot of time playing the female soldier levels.

When I use Windows 11, I use a second local non admin account.

I finally installed Linux Mint along with Windows 11.

I wouldn't say that Gab used to be an exclusively neo Nazi site, but now that Twitter allows standard conservative discussions, all the normal people probably left Gab for Twitter and now Gab is probably more of a Nazi shithole.

I have seen openly Jewish people on Gab but you couldn't go 10 posts without finding something blatantly racist.

There will be a right wing meltdown when someone like Chloe Cole is rejected.

If you're not openly trans, then you really shouldn't be dating online because that's a risk.

#3

My sister was open about it and she got creepy Neo Nazis looking for Russian girlfriends.

My sister is trans and she had to deal with that. She also made it extremely obvious that she was trans but she still got Neo Nazis.

She also got banned from a dating site for saying that she was only attracted to cis women.

It feels like it was intended to be a religious allegory considering the other symbolism in the game.

Bonus points if anyone remembers the game this is from.

Egg is a meme for a trans person who hasn't realized it yet.

Context: In that level you play as a female character. It will be 20 years old in November.

This is for people that I live with.

I don't mean any lame team building exercises, but casual group activities. It could be something mundane like organizing a trip to the store together. Movie trips would also be fine as would showing something on the home projector, though I feel like there'd be more distractions and temptation at home.

I've had problems with roommates on the spectrum that I rent out to who seem to think that they should ask for explanations of rules as a way of trying to argue. Normally I'd assume they're just trying to be jerks and look for backdoor ways of arguing or "concern trolling," but I'm open to the slim possibility that they don't actually understand or this is their way of trying to discuss it.

They also try to argue and play lawyer games when it comes to guilt. If I see a plate in their room, they're getting fined for eating in there. It doesn't matter if it was someone else because they allowed it.

It occurred to me that they might genuinely not understand what is going on.

I created a worldbuilding community for Lemmy users. There are worldjerking and worldmemeing companion subs that will be linked from there. c/Worldbuilding is a place for creators to share contents from fictional worlds that they create. Almost anything that you create for you world can be shared.

I found Firefish which is a better alternative to the standard Mastodon application. It's compatible with Mastodon and has better features. It allows users to create web pages and the character limit is 3,000 instead of the 500 on Mastodon. It feels like a good limit for the type of site that it is. Plus this means that it can handle long posts from users on customized Mastodon instances.

I have a specific question if anyone happens to know the answer.

Do anyone know how and where to create the pictrs directory for Lemmy? I'm getting an error any time I try to upload files.
