I've met most of neighbors while walking my dogs. There is a nice backyard but they LOVE going on walks and car rides.

This story is being reported elsewhere. It had been in the news cycle for several days as more individuals and govt agencies commented.

AP from Wednesday - https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-vance-arlington-cemetery-1.7307539

EDIT - The story continues: Reuters from Thursday - https://lemm.ee/post/41014140

This is state law in California. Enforcement differs in each area. I don't believe Oakland checks.

My last two TVs were dumb ones.

It is getting harder find dumb TVs because the smart stuff included with most TVs subsidizes keeping the initial price low. Manufactures are betting millions of dollars purchasers will sign up for the monthly apps.

I need a diary that works as an Android app and a web app. Ideally when I type something it automatically gets a time stamp.

Asking here because I want something private.

Does such a thing exist?

edit - Thank you for all the responses!! I did not expect so many replies.

The reason I said web app is because I’m looking for something I can use on my desktop and my phone. I use my desktop much more than my phone. While I currently use Windowz, I'm slowly migrating to Linux.

AP's move is a little self-serving as smaller news orgs are likely to use AP's services (as well as Reuters').

HOWEVER, I think this is a good thing as AP and Reuters' normally provide news based on facts written by real people.

A few companies are buying up TV stations, newspapers, and radio stations and presenting opinion as news. Sinclair's TV news is one example.

It does not prevent people from voting.

It may, however, amplify distortions of the truth or bold-face lies.

With regards to AIPAC it amplifies the voice of a group that is ONLY concerned with the advancement of Israeli interests.

Forums are alive and well when looking for car info. Whenever I get a different car I look for communities with the most activity and that is usually a forum.

The one exception I can think of (proving the post to be true) is the first generation Tundra (2000-2007). The FB group had more current news than the forums and I managed to get banned (first time ever).

edit - the original title was "Are Picture Uploads Allowed or Not?"

I know pic uploads weren't allowed and a file size message would appear.

I forgot and made a post earlier today with a pic (PNG). There was no error but the pic didn't appear. I updated the post with a link to the picture hosted elsewhere (pixelfed.social).

Before this post I created a test post with another picture (JPG) and it uploaded and displayed. (edit - I deleted the post).

I added the same test picture to this post.
