I went to the last Chicago one... And while there is some solace in the feeling of being there and seeing a massive crowd of others opposing this fascist movement, I really couldn't shake the feeling that it feels like a glorified parade.
The route is planned out, the police cooperate to close the roads, everyone marches together and chants and then goes home.
Peaceful is one thing but a planned out disruption that's barely a disruption is just... Are we honestly doing much?
I have no doubt the developer means well but that highlight with misinformation about how Android notifications work plus the lack of any input from those knowledgeable or affected by the raids really erodes any confidence in this.
Streaming is unfortunately a pretty weak hole in my Degoogling adventure. There's really no perfect solution.
CCwGTV ... what I have. But it's no longer supported, pretty slow. Launcher is bloaty af by default but I use a custom one. And of course... it's Google. I can side load for now but that's going away soon so I need an alternative.
Shield. I also have one but take all the above issues and add that it's a bit faster.
Apple TV. No side loading. Jellyfin support is janky still. Fastest and most elegant though.
Fire TV. Fuck Amazon.
I'd love some small Linux mini PC I can just build myself.

T-Mobile acquired them, per the usual bullshit, but I get 15GB a month with unlimited talk and text for "$20" a month. The catch is that you pay yearly in bulk for that price. Had it a year and change. Been solid.
