Deezer is the best platform. Superior audio quality comparing trash services like Spotify and ytmusic

I know not an ideal solution but after trying lots of foss applications, we decided to make our own solution. Other than that Nextcloud Deck is more than enough for most use cases

Yes. Nothing wrong with nextcloud. It's a skill issue

Hi,

I'm trying to use my 7.1 surround system on Arch Linux PC with pipewire. Currently 1 DP connected to the main monitor and 1 HDMI connected to the 7.1 sound system. Sound system has 4 HDMI IN and 1 HDMI OUT to the TV. First issue is without activating second monitor I can't output any sound. Second issue is sound is always 2 channel. There are no other options on pavucontrol app. What i'm trying to achieve is

  1. Using only main monitor and outputting sound through HDMI to sound system

~~2. Outputting both video and sound through HDMI, which is working but only on 2 channels.~~

Thanks in advance

EDIT:

silly me, I changed HDMI cable and it detected all possible audio outputs including PCM 7.1

Hi,

All I want is a notebook with amd cpu, no dgpu, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd and most importantly 120-144hz display. Am i out of luck or my search skills are just bad

Is this possible in boost? I couldn't find it on settings

I can see launcher and hit play but then nothing happens, It just stays on launcher. I tried --skip-launcher option and other Proton versions but none of them have worked. I'm on amd gpu and Proton-GE sometimes throws and error of "failed to collect displays" message, any idea?

SOLVED:

apparently sway was the problem and fixed it with below startup command

echo env --unset=SDL_VIDEODRIVER mangohud "%command%

Hi,

Today me and other 5 Ubuntu users with similar setup had an issue with brave. It glitches with rendering, completely missing fonts and some ui elements. brave-browser --disable-gpu fixes it.

Anybody else have the issue and possibly a fix without disabling hardware acceleration?

1.52.130 Chromium: 114.0.5735.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)

EDIT:

For future reference here is the fix. I think it's related to new MESA update

rm -rf ~/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default/GPUCache and restart brave
