Things shifted when guns became less of a tool and more of a cool thing.

It took one generation for my family to only have hunting rifles they used in the house… to collecting various guns just because they can.

This is funny because it totally ignores that Bolsonaro was part of the government from 1991-2023.

So it took what, 30+ years to take the trash out?

What an example! Can’t wait.

I saw them with The Faint in 2008!

Relatedly, I saw The Faint again in 2009, with Ladytron.

Genghis Tron totally blew me away with their sound live, they were the highlight of the night for me.

Magic tricks, for example.

Apparently they’re called Forcing Dice; obviously they sell different ones but the concept is the same.

Obviously these dice will not stand close scrutiny so they are most effective when used sparingly, substituted for a regular die at a critical moment.

Very useful to magicians who need to force a specific number as part of a trick, or as part of a humorous routine.

No.

We don’t exactly care because his army has dwindled enough that he’s no longer a threat to Uganda. He was indicted for war crimes in 2005 and has evaded capture since.

According to Wikipedia, he might have been in Darfur in 2022 but there’s no further source for that.

I also like “what the shit?!” which I first heard in the movie Mallrats.

What do you call someone who graduated at the bottom of their class from the worst medical school?

Doctor.

The town aspect seems fun and looks really nice in the preview images!

It reminds me vaguely of Bravely Default’s town system, which was cool as well.

The Walgreens fine was $350 million, which likely wouldn’t have affected them too badly if they weren’t already struggling. CVS’s agreement was $4.9 billion.

Walgreens has been failing for a few years now because they over-expanded and a lot of their stores weren’t profitable. They have been closing stores and threatening to close stores since the COVID lockdowns.

Actually one of the reasons I didn’t join it when I was looking for other instances.

Whoa, that’s very cool! I had The Final Fantasy Legend for the original Game Boy.

It’s cool to see some color added to the original graphics!
