I have what doctors call "dumb ears" and have zero musical ability. But I'm going to listen anyway, no one can stop me!

Oh yeah I listened to a bunch of them, it was definitely very good. Pre and post ads are probably the most bearable sort, but I'm trying to avoid them altogether if possible. But for anyone with more tolerance than me: absolutely also recommend this one.

Haha, glad to be of service! I've already gotten several good recommendations that are syncing to my MP3 player as we speak.

I run a retro gaming podcast, you can find us here: https://retrowarriors.net/

Or just directly subscribe via RSS here: http://retrowarriors.libsyn.com/rss

I've only started it, but it's surprisingly good! I hesitate to recommend it too much because I've barely played any, but I'm definitely intrigued.

Sounds fun, adding it to the list! My own show just hit 500, so I know how tough it is to stick to it week after week, kudos to them for making it so far.

Really enjoy this game with the fan expansion and HD launcher.

If you're looking for something less involved that scratches that same itch then Circle Empires is a fun game that takes a lot of DNA from HOMM3.

Man, that's living the dream! I've been considering the same since they're so cheap right now. IPS screen and a flash cart was my plan. Have you played the fan translations of Digimon Adventure?

Thanks! Onto the RSS feed they go.

Yeah that's a little niche, but you're going on the MP3 player anyway! I'd rather learn about something new from people who want to talk about it than hears ads played over something I already like :)

I'll check it out!

I already use sponsorblock and other add-ons for youtube, but I try to spend as little time as possible there. I sync my podcasts to an MP3 player. Thanks for the tip though!
