Silas Marner has to be the most boring book I've ever attempted to read.

Didn't help that it was an assignment for school, but it also didn't help that it's literally one of the most boringly written books ever.

You've almost described Jet Set Radio Future or Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, although those games are single player.

There is a multiplayer mod for BRC though.

Damn, renting out art? That's actually pretty cool.

I just saw last night that it added 3rd person and character models I was like "whaaaaat, I'm not just floating hands anymore?"

I'm gonna have to jump back in and tear some shit down.

You could also play The Mean Greens, which is a PvP game but not technically a battle royale.

"Anyone who likes survival crafting games will like other survival crafting games."

But yes.

Go watch the General Sam Kenshi vids. The early ones before he knows what he's doing. That's what got me into the game in the first place.

I like a lot of singleplayer games, but I also play games that can be played multiplayer (open world survival crafting games).

Borderlands is pretty good imo. You can play alone, but you never really feel alone with all the characters constantly asking you to do stuff for them.

Someone else said Kenshi, which is strictly singleplayer but you can build up your party and have multiple squads running around, taking care of things. And there are generated conversations between them. And there's tons of mods that can change or add things to the game; personally I've added a couple new subraces to the vanilla ones, a couple new whole races of characters to play with, new building and weapon types and such.

Edit: Untitled Goose Game and Thank Goodness You're Here, or even any cozy game really.

The new Star Wars: Jedi games like Fallen Order and Survivor are great singleplayer games without making you feel alone. Mostly cause of BD-1.

Damn. First Kenshi recommendation I've seen in the wild.

+1 for Kenshi

If you're looking for unique shirts, I'd recommend checking out Boss Dog bossdogart.com

They have a bunch of cool styles with cool color schemes.

Flashbacks from the advertising for The Outer Worlds, and IGN calling it the "Bethesda-killer"

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol.

Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally.

Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds.

Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work.

Does anyone have any possible insight?
