Cory Doctorow is a writer who I want to love, i like the plot descriptions of his work and he seems like a really smart and with it person, but his writing style just doesn't spark joy. It feels like work. IDK how to describe it, I just can't get in the flow with his writing.

Maybe I'm missing context on this, but halo slop?
Infinite came out 3 years ago and though they've done updates and general live service garbage there haven't been any major releases since. Halo isn't a yearly release schedule, charging full price for the same game every year like sports games, so i'm not seeing the slop...
You can buy a bluetooth speaker that sounds as good (if you don't need real stereo sound) and still have room in your pocket.
Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't it trivial to take it out of their bullshit dangerous "FSD" mode and take control? How does a car go approximately 40-50 feet down the tracks without the driver noticing and stopping it?
Why aren't these rich assholes able to buy cloths that fit?
I know it's a side issue to their evil, but it doesn't make any sense.

I guess i just don't get criticisms like this. They have been rerunning family circle for 50 years and Garfield as it turns out is better without Garfield, but this kind of banality is just too far?
Daily comics are mostly garbage with the occasional, possibly even accidental, brilliance.

The question is good, how given one smaller and one larger fraction could the person eating a smaller percent still have eaten more total pizza? That's a fun brain puzzle.
