The day I lost all respect for my father was when he told me in all seriousness that the fundamental purpose of capitalism was to make people happy.

I've got so many ads so far for how adding new taxes is bad even if it pays for good things, and all of the issues they are arguing about aren't even adding any taxes. Actually adding taxes seems like a great way to make political enemies, even though it's often the best tool there is for a thing.

I'd rather the power requirements were covered by non-carbon sources

Is nuclear not?

Yeah, I was aiming for technically correct.

The terrifying thing for me isn't even just that he could win. Yeah, that's a terrifying prospect.

But the fact that regardless of if he wins, there are so many people in this country, in our cities and among us, who are excitedly calling for the murder and eradication of the "other" who live here with us. That's terrifying.

I played Celeste. Later I figured out the word for the way I've always felt was trans. These events were unrelated, but the correlation remains.

Alt-tabbing back and forth, chrome's combined tabs, address, and bookmarks bar is larger than Firefox 's...?

I have some telehealth services I need to use occasionally that don't support Firefox, but that's pretty much it. And I guess Google meet is glitchy, but that I can deal with.
