I can most assuredly tell you that that is not the case, my vehicle does have a physical key hidden away in the fob, it however only unlocks the driver side door, that's it.

As BMW driver it amuses me that I use my signals more than most of the drivers around me, but then again I got it from insurance auction, so probably not your typical BMW owner.
