No problem. Its hard to believe that people like this can hold office, and not get removed. But, freedum.

The current governor, Ron Desantis (if your familiar with him, it may explain a lot) has hit his term limit and cannot be reelected, but he won by a landslide last time, although, his opponent was considered to just be a poor candidate.

Well see how Floridians feel about it in 2026, I guess. Theres not much that can done now.

Joseph Ladapo was handpicked by the governer during covid. The governor was fully aware of his views, and was chosen on purpose.

His policys from ending school quarantines to sending kids to school with measles, have been widely publicized. He even has been caught altering covid vaccine data to fit his narrative. The CDC even rebuked him in a letter .

Despite being found altering data, he was confirmed for a second term.

Racist people have been repeating this story long before trump ever took office. My father, decades ago, was always telling me this is why the family dogs would dissapear. Apparently, once a year, some gang (of non haitians) would come to our rural area, and steal the neighborhood pets.

Of course, our dogs would get hit by cars or shot, but it would happen to coincide with less barking of neighboring dogs (nah, it wasnt cause our wandering dog wasnt bothering them anymore /s) or another neighbor complaining their dog was missing, too.

I always thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard, much less how the logistics worked out, but the story has been around for a very long time, even if some of the details have changed. These jerks have just co-opted another racist troupe to try to pander to their base.

This is how they plan on filling all the gaps left by all the immigrants they want to deport. Next up are new laws that put even more people / groups of people, in prison.

Reminds me of the county in Florida that sends police to your door daily if they dont like you, or your family.

So they say. Guess he lost his vocal cords during the process. Wonder how it would have been if the church just let him get medical help...or never told him to start smoking in the first place ;)

Idk Val Kilmer is always smoking like a chimney in all his early movies. But then he also went against the church to get chemo so...

The article I read said Alzheimer patients had 10x the amount of plastics in the, compared to peoples ithput Alzheimers.

Edit: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/article/2024/aug/21/microplastics-brain-pollution-health

In the study, researchers looked at 12 brain samples from people who had died with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. These brains contained up to 10 times more plastic by weight than healthy samples.

I have nerve issues. My nerves just move around, usually due to an injury, but not always. Never had a doctor diagnose me properly. They wanted to fix my knee cap surgically or tell me that my pelvis moves. If I bend, or sleep, or lift the wrong way something moves. I can't keep a bent position very long, and sometimes my knee just randomly hurts after walking. Sometimes I get shooting pains in my elbows.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but, finally I got word of a guy from mexico, he was really old and most likely dead by now, but he was known as a massage healer. He would zero in on the spot and just work his magic. After going back a few times, it would stay mostly stay in place. I did have to exercise a bit (walking was enough) so the muscles would keep the nerve in place, but I could do so pain free.

Either way, I got too lazy and of course the pain came back. I've been to a couple other people who claim to do what he did, but its never worked the same. Closest anyone ever got to keeping me pain free for any amount of time, was a sports masseuse.

I don't know if you've ever heard of someone in your area like that, but it might be worth a shot. He would tell stories of how he helped all sorts of people with all sorts of aliments. This guy was well known in the Hispanic community, and people would come from other states just to see him, for all sorts of issues. If someone like this exists around you, they should be too hard to find if you ask the right people. Worst that can happen is you get a massage.
