Ok, so what do you want your 4th, new browser to do differently? What's so different about it that you can't build it on top of Gecko?

No it's not. You have lots and lots of different browsers. Do we need another browser engine? Also not. They all do the same thing so while it's good to have some competition we definitely don't need yet another one.

It's probably more like when Amazon gets into yet another business and kills the competition. Whatever those 3rd party devs are doing the social networks can do themselves and make more money.

The entire Ireland is in the EU already. Northern Ireland can access the single market without checks. The checks are between Ireland and GB.

we simply don’t have the tech to offer actual breakthrough in usability.

I didn't say such breakthrough is not possible. Just that it didn't happen yet so most new products are gimmicks. When they will come up with actual improvement we will know.
