I mean, both. Frivolous personal spending is bad. Inflation is bad. These two things are both bad, but not in scale. It's possible to say "Uber Eats is a waste of money", "Uber is a greedy corporation extracting money without value", "Corporate taxation has affected prices in a way that's negative to the consumer", and "Inflation and trade instability have made it harder to have the lifestyle we expect".

None of those are contradictory. Some can be changed on a personal level. Some need greater influence involved.

My father's death doesn't hit me in my day-to-day life much. But there are moments it hits me. Dad and Warren weren't close, exactly, but they were fellow-travelers and Dad worked the concerts at the Capital.

Personally, I see every reason to piss them off. Then again, I think that we need to finally heed Eisenhower's warning about the MIC and find a way to shut it down. Mind you, I also think we need to heed Goldwater's warning about the Republican party, and Washington's warnings about both forming parties and being tied up in Eurasian politics & culture.

It won't ever happen, of course, because it's not the most profitable thing. And it would take power away from the kleptocrats and give it back to the people.

Yes, but are you surprised at SJG not being the top RPG? The media push after GURPS Cyberpunk has faded fully. If they'd stuck with Fallout, maybe it could change.

You know what? Gyromite and Stack-Up, the games made to be played with R.O.B. You play the robot. I don't know many co-op multiplayer games on the NES. Maybe Chip & Dale, or Mario Bros. (not Super, the arcade game - though in 2025, I suggest Kaetekitta(sp?) Mario Bros., the rerelease). Bomberman might have cartoon violence, but I don't think it's going to scar a kid.

On SNES, there's Secret of Mana if you want to try for depth. I forget if any of the sports games let you go co-op. Pocky & Rocky (and other cute 'em ups) might be fun too.

Actually, general suggestion, cute 'em ups. Cotton, Twinbee, Fantasy Zone, Air Zonk, and many of the Parodius incarnations (obviously Sexy Parodius notwithstanding).
