Or are they still working their way through that 5 pound block of cheese?

That's a good idea regarding hobbies.. for me, once I become proficient (not necessarily good), I get bored and move on.

What I like about this is it's sincere.. you liked something, got to share it, and it got onto shelves. Now everything feels like a scam.

2022 Rogers Communications outage

Date: July 8, 2022 @ 4:30 a.m. (EDT)

Duration: 15 hours to several days

Outcome: Disruption of internet and wireless phone service Government services disrupted 9-1-1 calls failing Nationwide loss of Interac debit services

The event spurred new government policies requiring all telecommunications providers to provide mutual assistance to each other in the event of an outage, offer emergency roaming service for rivals' affected customers, and establish plans for how to communicate to the public about outages.

...

The outage was later said to be caused by a maintenance upgrade that caused routers to malfunction. A similar outage occurred in April 2021, which was attributed to a software update.

I also find that super annoying!

I created a trigger to disable auto-rotate when I'm using the apps I'm usually browsing while in bed (i.e. doom scrolling social media) but I like your idea.

That's smart!

I have a few triggers that turn on Do Not Disturb mode:

  1. When I open an app that I doom scroll before I fall asleep and when I wake up.

  2. When I connect to my doctor's or dentist's office wifi.

Ooh, kettle corn and kettle chips are my kryptonite right now.

It wasn't a free "sample", but I got someone's hand-me-down leggings and they were so comfortable that I bought a new pair when I needed a different size.

I received a "gift with purchase" lip balm. I usually just toss it after discovering how sticky/goopy/fragranced/tingling it is, but this one was really mild/neutral/pleasant so I got the full one when I finished the sample.

Discovery used to be science, nature, and well-researched documentaries. Then it turned into the TV version of click-bait.

Netflix seems to be taking the torch from Discovery with some of their "Netflix Series Documentaries".
