Trump and Vance typically struggle to burry Dick and are rarely invited to such occasions.
Nobody should go to an event honouring this mass murderer.
It's less about respecting Cheney and more about excluding Trump out of something. He's such a baby it will make him furious.

Its not even being evil. That takes a certain amount of intelligence and/or cunning. This is just being such a shitty person you don't get invited to some shitstains funeral because everyone knows you have the self control of a three year old.
He should have died in prison.
At bare minimum, he shouldn't have been given a 2nd heart.
Cheney will receive full military honors at the memorial service, which is expected to be a bipartisan who’s who of Washington dignitaries.

Crazy how much they're talking about him like he was the last conservative statesman, like he wasn't a corrupt partisan oligarch willing to murder for his own personal profit. Like, he didn't become a better person, that's just how bad the Trump era has gotten.
The main difference between Bush/Cheney-era bastards and Trump-era bastards is discretion. They were both making bank on the Federal dime, but politicians used to be discreet about it.
But I guess that Trump's superpower. He doesnt think corruption is so something to be embarrassed by or kept on the down low. He shouts his corruption out loud and dares everyone to do something about it.
Exactly. I'm not the type that thinks that's not a real difference. Open corruption shifts the political culture in very toxic and destructive ways. When people no longer think corruption is something to hide, the floodgates open and anything goes.
