Interesting that they don't mention tariffs.
You can kinda assume from "softened" consumer spending but there's been a bunch of comments on how companies haven't (yet) passed on the full cost of tariffs and it's hard to imagine that doesn't result in job losses.
Yeah, tariffs are an obvious factor in all this.
Tariffs after WWI and all the isolationism is one of the major causes of the Great Depression as well lol
"Disruptive technology" has always been a funny term, but it's especially hilarious applied to LLMs because they are currently destroying way more value than they're creating. Like describing a gunshot victim as someone "suffering from technology-related disruption to their lungs"
