It's the day after Halloween, my breakfast was Adderall, coffee, and haribo gummies

Washed down with a quad espresso and you got yourself a deal. Goodbye brain fog, hello executive function.

Is it the equivalent of Adderall?

I only know methylphenidate in France (ritalin/concerta/medikinet/...)

It's called Vyvanse in America irc...

Adderall is a weird combination drug, similar maybe, but not an equivalent.

I’ve had both adderall and vyvanse. The vyvanse is an extended release and also a “prodrug,” meaning it is inactive until metabolized in the body, where it is converted into the active stimulant dextroamphetamine. So it’s more of a slow drip over the day. Adderall on the other hand is a pretty quick hit of dextroamphetamine. Me personally, I do better with the quick hit. I feel instantly more productive and then it fades over time. Sometimes I’ll take another right after lunch if I have a lot to do.

Sounds like a combination would be ideal, but I'm not an expert.

It's slow release too, so lasts 8 hours like concerta.

Similar, not exactly the same. Which works better differs per individual.

Methylphenidate has similar effects through different function.
