IIRC PSL is already well funded pair wealthy tech bros, Ben and Richard Becker. (There's also a Ben Becker but he seems younger). Regardless, its not really money that drives a revolution. You get diminishing returns on it quickly if you don't have the people power to utilize it.
As for this as a form of outreach, its possible but you usually want to stick with topics where social issues are relevant. You don't want to be hawking protein powder and suddenly start talking about Fanon. Its very 
cringe.
Maybe something like drop-shipping would be better. Then you could talk about basic economics and about scamming your landlord or something like that.

When JT did an AMA here I asked him about using the pod to actively pipeline people into organizing.
IIRC his response was "That's more of what a party is for". Maybe I should have been more specific but it wasn't a super encouraging answer.
Disheartening but I can kinda understand it.
They do more education and contextualizing work. Putting themselves in a situation where they'd have to pick and choose specific projects and organizations to try to advocate for... well... look what happened with the Chapo gang and Bernie Sanders. They tried, it failed, and they still get raked over the coals for it.

If a media platform is independently telling people to join X y or z party that's fine, but if a declared member of that party owns the platform they are telling people to join their party then they are obligated to transfer ownership of that platform to the party for collective oversight.

I've seriously (idly) considered it before and here are the three reasons I decided against it:

Seems counterproductive. Right wing evangelism spreads the enemy's ideology, so engaging in it even as an act of subterfuge still helps the other side.

Ethics: Right wing propagandists all earn themselves a spot in Hell. "I was helping the enemy in order to grift the enemy and funnel that money to good causes" is not a strong defense.

Effectiveness and odds of success: For every 10 ridiculously wealthy right wing propagandists out there, there are probably 1000 (numbers I'm COMPLETELY MAKING UP) small time right wing propagandists who don't make it big. Odds are that the grift will just be helping the enemy without even getting much money to use against the enemy.
I have voice dysphoria 
I think if you did a podcast that actually spent its Patreon money on a good communist cause and also weren't a huge revisionist, that would put you ahead of most of the field in terms of the good you did. You'd probably need to have diplomatic relations with the other podcasts and media figures, but holding a line that isn't some entryist or class-collaborationist nonsense and instead supports independent socialist organizing and the abolition of the commodity form in well-developed countries would probably be helpful.
