Fearing retribution from a future Democratic administration, a terrified Yarvin declared on October 5 that he is already planning to flee the country.

Oh wow, this fascist actually is a complete moron, I guess that's to be expected.

I would be willing to take out a second mortgage to bet that, not only will Democrats fail to meaningfully punish any Republicans over this, they will embrace many of their ideas openly while quietly continuing much of what Republicans started. Like always.

Looking at the rest of what this fascist wrote is a good argument against complete freedom of speech.

i personally predict the dems (if they survive what's coming) will fully embrace the tech right (for that sweet $$$$), and combine Abundance ideology with the bones of Yarvinism to create a more sanitized fascism.

less bruitish, more behind the scenes, and maybe more effective in the end because limited popular resistance will collapse.

basically what they have always done.

dude would be perfectly safe here. the average dem thinks Yarvinism is a full blown tinfoil hat conspiracy with no basis in reality (despite his books, interviews, public appearances, etc)

Thats already a thing. Thats just california democrats.

Democrats gave pretty light sentences to a lot of the J6 fellows, imagine what they'd do to a guy that's just a thought leader. I think he overestimates how much Democrats actually know about their opposition, he isn't exactly showing up live on the news very often. He's also got years until a Dem admin is even possible, there's no reason he has to leave this early.

If he was really worried that he'd be blamed for everything bad the Trump admin is done, couldn't he just pull a Biden and get a pardon for everything he might have done over years or decades? If Trump wouldn't give him one, then he really isn't important enough that Democrats would care.

And the chuds will still claim they're communists, like always.

God I wish we had the democrats in this guy's imagination.

There's so much they could be doing but the most baseline, serious-adult-in-the-room policy is to abolish ICE. To claim any part of that organization is salvageable at this point would be fucking delusional, would be conceding on the massive the unlawful secrete-police tactics and the continuous violations of the 5th amendment. Democrats will try and claim that they legally can't, or that doing so will make them unelectable. Fuck that. I know it's still years away, but I'm not voting Dem unless they get behind abolishing ICE.

In what world are the Democrats going to do a purge against right wing writers?

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 25 points 3 weeks ago

As if they'd purge themselves, right?

Other far-right figures, like Richard Hanania, have also regularly mocked Yarvin on Twitter. Yarvin has done his best to slap back at his critics with his usual meandering screeds. But last week he finally caved by announcing he would mostly stay off of Twitter for the rest of the year.
