Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed.

All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body.

If you are citing a Twitter post as news, please include not just the twitter.com URL but also Xcancel.com (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source (archive.today, web.archive.org, ghostarchive.org). Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed.

Mass-tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken Markov chain bot will result in a comm ban.

Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.

Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned.

Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society.

speculative: isis-vintage (i think 2months ago they sent a call to do something like this), just in time to crack down on pro-humanity protestors.

Israel's foreign minister echoed that sentiment and said Jews in Britain were "suffering from a horrific wave of antisemitism".

just lmao

Even more ridiculous if it is ISIS. "I am deeply shocked and appalled at what our friends in ISIS have done. You were supposed to murder only Arabs and other gentiles."

it's truly speculative at this point on my part, might be some local dum-dum.

but of course, isis in europe works on strategy of tension wavelength, always did: plausible targets for fundamentalist ire, zero chance of anything changing from it.

(if say, same person attacked two elbit workers, i wouldn't have any suspicions on the isis non-affiliation)

Extremely beneficial to "Israel".

Considering Israel and the US just put ISIS into power in Syria, this would be quite rich coming from them

The fact that their politicians see such a tragedy and immediately begin milking it in the media... disgraceful.

A Jewish man outside the synagogue said: "It is the holiest day of the year and we get this. There is no place for Jews in Britain anymore. It's over."

Then fucking leave.

It's awful, but I don't remember the kids that got blown up attending an Ariana Grande concert claiming it was because Britain was uniquely hateful towards Ariana Grande fans. Imagine taking an actual terrible act of violence and blaming everyone but the person who actually did it, laid dead on the ground in front of you.

Outside of Israel you literally couldn't find a more inherently pro-Zionist country (and we all know Zionist is what this person meant), so if that's not enough for you pack your fucking bags.

Jewish zionists often say this ("Jews are no longer safe anywhere except Israel"), both inside and outside of Israel. However, as Jewish anti-zionists constantly point out, they don't even believe it themselves. Few of them move, and most who do do so for the economic benefits of getting things for free that are stolen from Palestinians.

I feel bad for someone so steeped in zionist messaging that their immediate reaction to this terrible tragedy is that Britain is unsafe for Jews.

Exactly. It's bullshit, the people who trot it out every time know it's bullshit, and the irony is that it actually devalues and demeans Jewish lives. Those were fucking people with lives and loved ones, just like every other victim of random violence, not a fucking trite, bullshit talking point that already gets trotted out for everything from Corbyn going to the 'wrong' seder to a comedian being asked to apologise for doing a racist blackface routine. Zionism can't even stop dehumanising it's own supposed 'own', never mind everyone else. It's a cancer that eats everything it comes into contact with.

It's not irony, zionists don't value Jewish lives, especially those of the diaspora.

Very true. Irony isnt the right word. I'm just really fucking over this song and dance and fucking pissed.
