I haven't followed this fella, but I assume he's done a lot of really good work if he's earned so much money. Kudos to him. I hope to be following in his footsteps some day, once I get my promotion!

I don't understand economics. All I hear about this guy is this went wrong for him and that and he floundered that thing and this other project of his is literally a dumpster fire burning money and the boards of every company he is involved in are furious at him because he keeps losing them money and he lost 2 fantastillion dollars in this hare-brained venture and, oh yeah, he now has more money than anyone in history ever including himself.
This isn't economics. The stock market is more of a casino.
His worth is mostly from Tesla. Tesla's stock value is absurd and divorced from their market share and earnings.
To give an idea of how absurd Tesla stock is, Tesla valuation is higher than the next 35 automakers COMBINED!
