something I find funny about racists is that you'd be talking to someone who straight up supports segregation and once you call them a racist ,they will "hur dur pattern recognition is racist now" ~ 🤡

Doesn't the use of pussy as "cowardly", "shrinking", or "harmless", derive from "pussycat", referring to the animal's propensity to flee danger? I was under the impression that its use for genitals was a parallel construction.

To be fair, I think there are sentences and words that if we said directed at the chuds, would actually dismantle their entire movement. Words that they were told you’re not supposed to say that would also actually hurt them because it defined who they are behind closed doors and would also break the brains of their supporters because we’d be seen, to them, more “alpha” for saying it outright in public
If you got someone on public television say it directly to trump’s face it would go viral in both camps. Probably more likely a shitty dem gets the opportunity and does it before someone who deserves the attention and support

that sub has been angry for a while that James Gunn is using Nazis as antagonists for Peacemaker
It's funny because the only reason Nazis are used as The Bad Guys is because it's settled, in the past, and pretty much everyone's okay with it. Using Nazis as your villains is sorta cowardly in this day and age because you're doing it at least in part to avoid pushback.
That said there is something singularly enjoyable about media where you just don't have to give a shit about the humanity of the villains, and it's okay to feel unbridled joy at their failures. Nazis as enemies gives us that. It's using Nazis as the go-to bad guys that's cowardly.
