Really happy to see Wired refer to the group correctly, earlier articles had "Democrats" instead.

Definitely worth a read, but the best but is they immediately talked about unionizing...

“Should we send a joint email (with all of our email addresses) … or, are we just going to send things separately and hope they change everything for everyone?” Laurenzo, a nonbinary creator in Columbus, Ohio, with over 884,000 TikTok followers, asked the group. Some joked about collective bargaining. “Any Newsies fans here?” Eliza Orlins, a public defender and reality TV star known for her appearances on Survivor, posted in the group. “‘We’re a union just by sayin’ so!’”

The article also mentions how this isn't new, and brings up how Biden/Kamala did similar "outreach" and immediately cut off anyone who even slightly criticized them.

Just because these groups are kicked out of the DNC now. Doesn't mean they're going to stop.

But they're mostly wasting their money. The views they're paying people to support are so divorced from what Dem voters want that they're based are more likely to move on than adopt the talking points like Republicans do.

It's gonna flush out any influencers willing to take bribes, and just leave the authentic ones.

But it is Democrats. It's not a project of the DNC, but it is certainly intertwined with the same people who ran the Democratic party into the ground. The Sixteen Thirty Fund spent more on the 2020 election than the DNC. If It's not a Democratic dark money group, then there are no Democratic dark money groups, or Republican for that matter.

Honestly, hot take I guess, but I've been watching more content from dem influencer who have talked about this even and I'm kind of in support.

You change the society you have not the one you want. Same reason why I support socialist and communist owning voting stocks in public companies.

It's never enough, it's not THE answer, but you don't throw away leverage and power when we desperately need it. The opposition sure as hell isn't.
