I used to prefer more house China but lately I've been into deep China

[–] Cat_Daddy@hexbear.net 39 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Look into Deep House China. Shit slaps.

[–] hexthismess@hexbear.net 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Ooh ill have to check that out, I've been into trippy sub-low China lately

[–] Cat_Daddy@hexbear.net 5 points 5 days ago

Hell yeah, sub-low China is good shit, too

Lmao what the fuck, I genuinely didn't expect him to be familiar with that kind of vintage racist phrasing, maybe it's just something someone around him says a lot. Next they're gonna start calling China The Dark Continent

[–] fox@hexbear.net 46 points 5 days ago

He's old enough to have been around for all of that vintage racism

[–] moss_icon@hexbear.net 35 points 5 days ago

His dad was Fred Trump who got arrested at a KKK rally, it’s not surprising at all.

my money is on "the mystical orient" myself

[–] regul@hexbear.net 9 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I thought it was a Paddington reference.

[–] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 4 points 5 days ago

I came here to say that... but comparing those bears to anything Mango Mussolini says feels like it's somehow insulting innocent bears.

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 43 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Wow so they're turning against a country that keeps sanctioning them and aligning with a country that's willing to work together with them? It would have taken a political genius to figure out this was going to happen.

Time and time again US foreign policy always assumes that countries wont react in their own self interest and the US is unable to consider that they will not act in the exwct way they want them to. Although I have to admit the EU is doing exactly that, which is just embarassing

[–] Assian_Candor@hexbear.net 14 points 5 days ago

Extreme cringe tbh the EU is a disgrace

you could have had the China of light donny, now you will have to deal with the China of Darkness and its PLA Shadow Monks

[–] 9to5@hexbear.net 10 points 5 days ago

Writing down PLA Shadow Monk as class for my next DnD game

[–] Midnight_Pearl@hexbear.net 32 points 5 days ago (1 children)

god he's such a lib

i wish he actually was a USSR sleeper agent like redditors think he is

[–] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 10 points 5 days ago (1 children)

That would imply the USSR was still around, so yes, I would very much like that.

Heart of Darkness but it's a pleasant journey on high speed rail

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 30 points 5 days ago

He's acting like a bitter ex lover

[–] Cat_Daddy@hexbear.net 29 points 5 days ago

DRC needs to up their game. They're not "deepest, darkest" anymore according to the Racist In Chief.

[–] gingerbrat@hexbear.net 26 points 5 days ago

Thank you for your attention to this matter

[–] plinky@hexbear.net 21 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

why is china deepest or darkest? or is china the third adjective?

[–] mrfugu@hexbear.net 17 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Based on the grammar it should be the latter

[–] plinky@hexbear.net 14 points 5 days ago

it's always china before the dawn

deepest, darkest, china (by dior)

[–] LangleyDominos@hexbear.net 20 points 5 days ago (1 children)

China. The dark continent.

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 19 points 5 days ago (1 children)

It should be a legal requirement for any elected official to play Victoria 3 and list their achievements.

[–] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 6 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

I mean... when it first launched, it was definitely a bit of a dialectical materialism simulator. So yeah, more people should play it. But also, I think you're making a point about colonialism, and, yeah. We should give these old racist fuckers a computer game in which they can either do Victorian era colonialism or attempt to build socialism ahead of historical schedule, and watch what they do with that.

[–] LangleyDominos@hexbear.net 14 points 5 days ago (1 children)

You probably think that you are better now, better now
You only say that 'cause I'm not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Would've gave you anything, would've gave you everything

[–] Quai@hexbear.net 7 points 5 days ago

I've seen you with your other dude (with your other dude) He seemed like he was pretty cool (like he was pretty cool)

[–] KeavesSharpi@lemmy.ml 9 points 5 days ago

My dude just... surrendered? Wow. That's a Bleat that will be in the history books.
