What's the problem, exactly? I think you can't force the beer into the elephant if it doesn't want it.
It's explained in the article that the video was recorded in a wildlife conservation where people aren't permitted to get close to the animals, let alone give them alcohol.
Elephants also enjoy getting drunk off fermented fruits in the wild.
