Meal prepped grilled cheese sounds horrific. Might be ok reheated in a toaster oven, but if you only have access to a microwave, eugh.

And why heat the tomato soup ahead of time? Just wait and heat it when you eat it.

Lol yeah, this is maybe why it may not be ideal to meal prep at 1AM...

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 5 days ago (2 children)

And to eat it every day for an extended period? Ehhhh

Absolutely not an abnormal thing to do for someone with autism. Safe foods are safe foods; can eat them any number of days in a row cause I trust it to always be the same enjoyable experience every time.

someone is having a manic episode, or doing meth, or both

It’s probably just someone cooking for friends, probably after a lot of drinking (I’ve seen this sort of post before) rather than meal prepping

[–] Fleur_@aussie.zone 5 points 4 days ago

Ah... Friends.... That explains why I didn't recognise this scene

This is how I feel about people who put the milk in first. Micro meal prepped soggy cereal.

I think they're grilled cheeses considering the tomato soup but not 100%

[–] scrion@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

I think so, too. It's still a horrible idea though.

Don’t be shaming people for cooking for friends after a night of drinking. That’s almost certainly what this is. And it’s a very nice thing to do, even if it’s easy food.

one of my favourite lunches.

and by 'lunch', i mean it could be breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch, tea, dinner, supper.. or anything in-between.

One of those things that sticks in your brain but is reeeal weird to search for.

Is this how drunk Americans do hot pot?

Note to self: have hot pot stuff ready to go before the next drunken outing when people are in town.

Motivation is motivation, you use that shit when you get it cause no clue when you'll have some again after it's gone.

If you have an air fryer you can probably crisp those up when you go to eat them later.
