I just switched from Spotify to TIDAL, and it appears to have a Live session feature. I haven’t tried it yet tho

You could use virtual audio cable to output music through your mic and be in the same call.

If you don't mind youtube there are ways to watch that with others.

There are a ton of ways to stream Internet radio although hosting networking might be an issue. Icecast is my recommendation.

You can all join the same Rust server and play midi files on the in-game instruments.

I just post what I'm listening to at !eternalplaylist@crazypeople.online and other people can listen or not. There's a bot that posts youtube links when you post paid services so pretty much anyone can listen to anything being shared.

I mean you can start a mumble server and have a bot stream music from your library, accepting requests from users for next song

That's not really the same though and much more manual while in use, and also quite a lot of setup.

What’s the difference between mumble and jam? I may have made some assumptions about jam as I don’t use it.

Also, some things require work to get it how you want

A Spotify jam you can start at any time, anywhere. Then whatever you're playing is that "Jam". You can send other people (who also have Spotify) a link/qr and they can hear it, and play songs too. It's literally 1 click to do this with a group.

I also don't use it, so I don't know how it exactly works once you're in it. Like how don't suggestions work or if anyone in it can just add to the queue, but that's the assumption on my part.
