For those confused, it's a space suit. I thought it was pajamas for way too long though.

It's not pajamas. It's a full 3-piece suit with a tie.
Any outfit is pajamas if you wear it to sleep in.
With the lapels meeting so high on the chest I'm not sure that person is wearing a vest, so I'm guessing a 2-piece
On a second thought, the vest would have rockets and aliens on it too. So I think you are right.

I like the thought of a space launch where the dress code is sent as a memo, and you kind of... just bring your own.
